In the plus column, we've had a healthy rainy season in the SE US. And while storms seem to move slower than before, we're not yet overwhelmed by stall+flood events.
- antonymoose 1mo agoHave we? Most all of South Carolina is in a drought. We experienced an exceptionally dry Spring and have had good but not sufficient rains all summer.
- camd32 1mo agoYeah and the west is so extremely dry.

As for this seasons storms in WCFL, every week I see storms that barely move - often just sitting in place for an hour or more. It's a change from the historical lines that marched across the state.
- mathgeek 1mo agoInteresting. Here it's been pretty much the daily 10-minute storm and not much more. Those numbers you linked would lead me to believe we're trending around last year.
