We do not need everyones bags to be scanned. We do not need everyones bodies to be scanned. We do not need facial recognition at TSA, to board international flights, and to enter the country. We do not need to ban cash at airports. We do not need to take off our shoes (ig that changed). We do not need to restrict liquids.
It's a bunch of baloney.
- Bishonen88 2mo agowhat? especially the bags part seems crazy. Easy to imagine what happens when we stop screening bags...
- Vitamin_Sushi 2mo agoWait until you find out that even when scanning everyone's bags, the TSA's failure rate is around 85%: https://abcnews.com/US/tsa-fails-tests-latest-undercover-operation-us-airports/story?id=51022188 https://abcnews.com/US/tsa-fails-tests-latest-undercover-ope... Granted, this article is almost 10 years old. Even so, I highly doubt that this administration is willing to test (or report) the TSAs effectiveness.
- jstanley 2mo agoEasy to fear what you merely imagine. Did you know that for train and bus travel in the UK bags are not scanned? And we don't have people bombing trains and buses all the time. Some museums look in bags and some don't and I'm not sure there's a statistically significant difference in how frequently they get bombed.
- Gud 2mo agoThe difference between an airplane and buses and trains, is that in the airplane you are in a confined space far from the ground. Its not just about bombs.
