I think the idea is simply to give everyone the same opportunity. "Fairness" then rests with them.
- WalterBright 2mo ago"The same opportunity" is just as unworkable, as everyone is in a different situation. For example, there never was any path for me to be a basketball player or a weightlifter. People are different, and that's a good thing. What we can do is apply the law equally to people.
- JKCalhoun 2mo agoPhysical differences? Sure. I didn't think anyone was talking about that though.
- WalterBright 2mo agoPeople have a lot more differences than just physical ones.
- jambalaya8 2mo agoI am curious how this is affecting people who used to have interviews away from where they live that now are forced to contend with environments that are not conducive to, or actually detrimental to, finding work. Things like zoom interviews (and zoom for work) have certainly affected that.
