i've got old friends who have been telling me about the same app idea they've had for 10 years and are now spending 1000s on Lovable tokens. This isn't sustainable customers. It's delusional people spending money on the wrong thing. Their ideas were not good before they could "code it". Their ideas are still not good now that they can.
- fragmede 2mo agoWho are you to decide? You could be absolutely right, but it's their money and if they don't hit gold, they haven't wasted your time building it.
- pluralmonad 2mo agoSign companies stay in business. Because every new startup restaurant wants its own sign. That particular restaurant being statistically doomed is actually a benefit to the sign company. I guess maybe you meant not sustainable for the half baked businesses. It seems like it could be sustainable for lovable.
