And you certainly shouldn’t bother monitoring what it’s doing.
- jklinger410 2mo agoIf you want to write misleading articles to get clicks, it makes it a lot more interesting if it sounds like there's a lot of intentionality behind what META is doing. In reality META has simply not banned or restricted these accounts from monetization. That's it! But that doesn't make for an exciting headline.
- WorldMaker 2mo agoThat's assuming inaction doesn't have intentionality behind it. Meta has proven many times that its inaction is often intentional. But also, maybe more importantly, as soon as money changing hands is involved, that's a business transaction and if you aren't watching like a hawk who your business transacts with, then yes that is often assumed intentional (and classically a sign of a bad business) because it shows up in your accounts and impacts your bottom line.
