I had linkedin long time ago, then around covid times I reactivated and polished it, tried to be active there, the second time actually, hoping it did change, nope, it was the same as I remembered or even worse, cringe over cringe over borderline frauds with corporate BS, I tried to engage on actual discussion on some posts, nothing. The last straw was in the previous job I guess my boss noticed I am there, so after some time he started asking the team “to be active” and like the posts.. so I deleted it entirely. All that before AI so I imagined now it is far far worse.
But whats worse that it’s being considered as the platform to find “jobs” or engage with peers, so I guess if you can put up with all that cringe it means you are ready to put up with irl cringe once they hire you in their company.
