I notice a pattern in television. When it first emerged, they put some effort into the programming. Then when colour TV came about, the same thing happened. Same with satellite/cable, streaming services etc. When they were trying to hook people on streaming, the content seemed to be much higher quality. Mass media has a knack of producing dull programming and films just now. I was watching some true crime docs, but even within that I have my preferences.
