The 25 year old vehicle I have has a timing chain, but yes, it has 100,000 mile internal maintenance items like spark plugs. Oil changes are a 5,000 mile item regardless of age. Replacing a BEV set would cost more than the total amount I’ve spent on the truck, including buying it in the first place, fuel, insurance, registration, maintenance, and repairs.
