I don't understand how we can keep giving the police shiny new toys and juicy overtime pays but can't find enough people to take 911 calls.
- nemomarx 2mo agoIf you don't give the cops their toys, they might go on a work strike, threaten politicians, or whatever. If you don't give 911 operators money and more seats the backlash is much more muted. maybe they need a strong union and strikes?
