And professional kitchens turn them on! I've literally never seen anyone turn on their range hood while cooking, unless they burn something and are trying to get the smoke alarm to turn off.
- ryan_lane 2mo agoA lot of range hoods in the US vent back into the house, surprisingly, especially if it's an apartment. IMO it should be code to have them vent outside.
