They have wok adaptors for induction now.
- lightedman 2mo agoThere are actual induction units for woks now. They're large but they really get almost the whole wok really hot really fast! I'm assuming there are multiple induction loops inside the unit to be able to make that happen given how deep the wok must sit inside the unit.
- Hikikomori 2mo agoYeah those exist, meant regular induction cooktop. Still ok for most wok dishes if you cook on batches. Regular gas stoves aren't really powerful enough for proper woking anyway, so an induction wok shaped one might actually be better for most home users.
