I consider using LLMs to generate code akin to metaprogramming. We created these programs to write programs, which, if it was seen as such, would be considered the highest form of technical achievement. Instead some people consider it the lowest form, cheating etc. Let them talk, and we'll see who comes up with the most useful programs. I loved programming for the 30+ past years, in many different languages. But in the end what I love most is creating useful programs. So I use LLMs to take care of the nitty gritty, pushing my creative vision through, iterating until I have something worthy of publishing. Haters will hate. I'll just keep working. I say bring it on.
