Thanks for sharing this. You are definitely (ahem) not alone. One thing I heard from a friend (in a church talk) was that if you want a beautiful life, you need to find beautiful things and bring them into your life. This struck me as obvious but somehow I never clued in before. I need to actively create the life and living environment I want. I hope this doesn't sound like browbeating because it isn't. I don't know you but I absolutely relate to what you're saying. Good luck in creating a better life for yourself and enjoy the journey along the way. I will try and do the same.
