Remind HN: Open Hacker House every Wed in San Francisco
- chengmi 18y agoWhat about those of us with 9-5s?
- aristus 18y agoA few people from Yahoo, etc take a WFH day and show up. But this is mainly for people who already work in SF and want to co-work. If you have a 9-5 and are interested in a regular meetup after hours, please reply here or email me at carlos at archivd. The important thing is having a regular space and someone(s) to commit to hosting the event. I can't commit to spend 14 hours in a cafe every wednesday.
- aaronblohowiak 18y agoSuper Happy Dev House http://superhappydevhouse.org/ http://superhappydevhouse.org/
- nostrademons 18y agoWhen's the next one? Website says Jan 31, which was nearly a month ago.
- defunkt 18y agoThanks for the reminder - I'll try to make it this week. See you there!
- dmpayton 18y agoAnyone know of anything similar in the South Bay area? I'm in Campbell and I don't drive.
- khafra 18y agoTangentially, anyone know of anything similar in the Tampa Bay area? It'd be nice to see comprehensive, geographically sorted meta-list of get-togethers ranging from this to 2600 meetings, for those of us outside Boston, NYC, and California.
- crescendo 18y agoI've been looking for a place to work in the South Bay also. Any chance of a news.yc rally to get some kind of hackerspace going here?
- wayne 18y agoI'm willing to host a South Bay one sometime but I have a day job so it'd have to be an evening or weekend. Email me if you're interested (email's in my profile).
- peterbraden 18y agoTrying to work out from the map whether that's noisebridge - if not it's very similar. https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/NoiseBridge https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/NoiseBridge
- aristus 18y agoNoiseBridge is up the street a bit, 16th instead of 21st. I keep meaning to visit them. OHH is nothing special -- it's just an excuse to meet other startup folks.
