Why would they do that? It seems to have prevented UTM (there's a linked tweet[0].)
They used to have a policy of no emulators, I think. But if they shipped a hypervisor why remove it?
Every time I see what people achieve when jailbreaking, it makes me think that nothing would be healthier than forcing iOS to be unlocked and even fully open source.

- hujk 2mo agoipad os 26 has some opportunity, some research(google "ios26-hypervisor-research") indicates that apple add hypervisor back at ios/ipados 26, since latest security features relies on it
