Ask HN: What do you think about Northstar-browser?
- thataccount 2mo agoI think I can't really use it that well on Fedora Linux. I was hoping they'd have an appimage, but not the last time I looked.
- roschdal 2mo agoI will create appimage for Fedora. Thank you.
- thataccount 2mo agoYeah, I know it is there, but my Linux distro is ephemeral with package changes. Something like North star suits this kind of distro which has a limited recollection of where it has been, but remembers the configuration it was put in.
- thataccount 2mo agoAwesome! I just tried the rpm package yesterday again, and remembered why it didn't work. It did not like a bunch of dependencies it was gonna have to install. When do you think you will have the app image ready?
- montroser 2mo agoIt's this here: https://www.nordstjernen.org/northstar-browser/ https://www.nordstjernen.org/northstar-browser/
