Hmm. And the AISI unintended model hacking yesterday was also just marketing for the British Government?
At some point we have to all accept that powerful AI is most likely dangerous AI as well, almost by definition.

- pixl97 2mo agoCrash society to the point where we can no longer make complicated chips. Of course this really isn't a great solution as it involves billions dying too. Not that someone won't try... We've signed up on the "If you build it, everyone will die" express. No brakes, no stops, full speed ahead.
- frabcus 2mo agoAt least join PauseAI or similar. Or give money to them. Write to politicians. Read Plan A and tell people about it.
