  The "abundance means money is meaningless" is obviously complete BS. If that was true, AI would not be seen as a path to vast individual or institutional wealth.

  If someone comes to you and says "I have proven the Riemann hypothesis", will you believe them, or think them a crank? If something comes to you and says (in effect) "I am The Singularity", will you believe it?
