Show HN: Pushyourthing. Everyone mashes one button to push links up
To be honest. I was bored and created this for fun. And ideas we can add here to make it more fun?
- elliotec 2mo agoIt's fun! Cool way for new projects to compete to get a backlink, assuming the hall of fame persists forever. Maybe more pomp and circumstance for crossing some number milestones. A confetti explosion when you double the lead, a cool animation when you cross 10k, something like that. Maybe for winners of the day, adding the meta description of the link or something.
- elliotec 2mo agoCould also play around with the multiplier logic, and do more cookieclicker-esque type gamification. Is it open source? I'd be down to play around with it on a branch i can push up if you're interested.
- canerbo 2mo agoGreat ideas! Will improve it tomorrow. Guess need to fix the mobile layout first. There sre still some bugs. It is not open-source yet.
- canerbo 2mo agoWhat do you think about the option to push others down as well? Would be kinda nore competitive lol
