That's how designing products works. There are particular use cases one designs for. My point is that by far the most common use case I'd daily driving, and very few people would be majorly and continually inconvenienced by charging 200 miles in 15 minutes.
Even if your use case is "only take the car on 500 mile road trips and I don't want to stop for 15 minutes", you should be able to understand how exceedingly rate that is.
- kccqzy 2mo agoThat’s how the modern way of designing products works. 90% of use cases is enough. YAGNI. The R&D needed for the last 10% is not worth its marginal return. There is no ambition, no perfectionism, no maniac attention to detail any more.
