Much of Philosophy Today Is Self-Indulgent
- rramadass 2mo agoThis has been the case with philosophy in the Western World from the beginning of the Scientific Revolution and only got worse over time. They got stuck in smaller/trivial issues without relevance to the real-world. They forgot that "Reductionism" is not the right approach to philosophy which is supposed to provide an all-encompassing worldview however incomplete it might be, that can be used by an ordinary human to flourish in life.
