Thought-provoking comment thanks. I love the point about other cultural movements. But honestly, I would dispute the starting quote here; who has any evidence that most intellectuals are nerds? I might more easily accept that most nerds grew into intellectuals, but I’m pretty skeptical that most intellectual always have been nerds.
