My exerpience is that people who do not fully understand it expect it to be a magic wand. The underlying business needs to be AI enabled first (Knowledge base, processes etc) before AI can deliver real value. I do think there is real potential for AI to help with delivery and businesses but mature businesses need to look at their setup first to enable AI.
