In case you haven’t seen Severance, here’s the premise: “severed” people in the series have their mind split in two personas basically, with separate memories and personality traits. In reality, we’re tasking the LLMs with dull work, and use their output for our benefit. It’s a stretch, yeah.
- cowpig 2mo agoWell imagine what it would be like to experience the experience of an LLM. Just imagine they are conscious for the time they are autogressing. Wouldn't it be like the experience of the Severed?
