feedback: making the editor "ed" pia is a deliberate choice - and a dealbreaker for me. Tickle my brain, don't make me figure out arcane edit schemas. vi, emacs

  No vi or emacs in 1977 unix, ed was the editor and you don't raelly need to know it: man ed give you the syntax and ed lockd.c spells out the solution for you. You don't need any sort of knowledge beside whats in the game just poke at stuff, did you see the line in ed lockd.c, if not it's not landing, it's worth knowing. But feedback is feedback so I'll take it
