This reminds me of I/O Channels on IBM Mainframes.
- Woodi 2mo agoYe, all that pinning etc look like cpus are not so "general purpose" and we want specialized and programmable IO hardware. Maybe even IO from memory to memory :) Same as with paralleism - it's data type what matters.
