- throw1234567891 2mo agoThe non-profit makes no profit but it doesn’t mean those involved can’t make profits. An investment in a new jet for the boss is an investment back into the non-profit!

- mcmcmc 2mo agoDoesn’t the majority of that go back to the clubs that make it to European competitions though?
- mktemp-d 2mo agoHere is the UEFA business model according to their statements. https://www.uefa.com/running-competitions/financial-distribution/our-business-model/ https://www.uefa.com/running-competitions/financial-distribu... 97% returns to the club and 9.3% is ear marked for football development programs. Some of the money is utilized as reimbursement to clubs that did not manage to qualify. PS Treating HN like a search engine is not constructive. No flak tho, I also do this sometimes.

- mvc 2mo agoYeah, none to the African, South American, or Asian nations who contribute many of the best players though. And they don't share it around their own countries that well either with all the revenue going to the big 5 and the rest can just go sing.
