I'm really curious - are the people who keep saying this in denial or lacking in a basic education in economics? You can imagine all you want, but this is absolutely not a possible outcome.
- wartywhoa23 2mo agoThey are not in denial, they're spreading PR narratives of AI corporations / VC hedge funds, no matter if willingly or out of naivety.
- alexashka 2mo agoYou are using 'basic' economics to predict the future with 'absolute' certainty? Rhetorical.
- mitthrowaway2 2mo agoAs someone who lacks a basic education in economics, what part of basic economics prohibits this nice-sounding outcome? It seems like what I'd expect from a combination of UBI and widespread automation.
