Standards only become standards if people start using them. I think lightweight initiatives like this have a better chance than overly ambitious specifications. Keeping the format simple while enabling interoperability feels like the right trade-off. For that reason (I'm a believer) I started OKF4NET (as a .NET / Agent Fx developer) to integrate OKF as memory for our agentic workflow and half cold/cold memory storage or format to save/load verified knowledge (instead of moving qrant database or LLM Wiki).
