- jaep1 2mo agoThank you! Next.JS + TypeScript + Tailwind on Vercel. 1. Tailwind with a deliberately tiny palette. One accent color, system-ish fonts, defaults for almost everything else. 2. A mascot covers a multitude of sins. Chip the chipmunk shows up everywhere — badges, avatars, empty states, link preview cards. 3. I iterate UI with Claude Code in a tight loop: describe what feels off, look at the render, adjust, repeat. My job is judging the result, not pixel-pushing. 4. Steal layouts shamelessly from apps you already like. For utility apps, original layout is a liability — users want familiar.
