i've never had any issues with 256k context. see no reason to bump up to 1m if it comes at a premium.
- trollbridge 2mo agoIt's pretty handy for have very long contexts for long running agents, or else when doing literary analysis to simply be able to load the entire book in.
- TranquilMarmot 2mo agoUsing Claude/ChatGPT I rarely hit >256k context for most basic coding tasks. Sometimes if I need to do something more "intense" (bigger refactors, new features) the 1mil window is nice.
