AGI has arrived. We just call it backpropagation
- kelseyfrog 2mo agoIt's not intelligent.
- heaney-555 2mo agoIt very clearly is, unless you're using a meaningless definition of intelligence tht resolves to "think exactly like a human".
- kelseyfrog 2mo agoI can find any number of counterexamples that an AI fails and an intelligent agent would get right. What thermometer of intelligence do we have except the degree to which responses congrue with reality?
- CookieCrisp 2mo agoI can find any number of counterexamples that an average human fails and an AI would get right. It’s a different form of intelligence but it is intelligent
- dlcarrier 2mo agoYou just keep renaming it until everyone has given up on the concept. Is there no sign we'll ever get strong AI? Then, we need to dumb it down and call it a post-singularity AI! Is that not coming any time soon, then how about an even simpler artificial general intelligence? Is that still not playing out? Than maybe all we need is Back Propagation‽
