Asking those HN users whose work requires them to read through many resumes: is the influx of AI slopped resumes a big enough problem already for humans reading them, or no one actually reads them manually so humans don't really care?
- vednig 3mo agoOften good candidates get rejected by poorly designed ATS and unclear HR requirements, AI here just helps candidates cross a hurdle that is communication acts like a translation layer between the two parties. And very few people when hiring read a complete resume and judge solely on the basis of that.
