- ChuckMcM 2mo agoNot surprisingly, the Wikipedia article has a good list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dither#Algorithms https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dither#Algorithms). The 'cool kids' these days tend to use something called 'blue noise' which minimizes visual artifacts. Color dithering is fun because dithering one color can interfere with other colors so you have to consider it as a color volume rather than simple binary on / off dithering.
