I started using uploads because the tarball directory created by the "download a tag" feature was IMO ugly. It uses "$user-$repo-$tag-$SHA1" as the basename. Please let us configure this (what if we don't like to see $user there?). The sha-1 is redundant and annoying for packagers that want to write simple scripts, which is also solved by making it configurable.
