Yah from what he said - it was a well received conference, fiscally responsible (ie trying to get extra funding from publicity when tickets were unsold). Only error - like many people said - it should not have been a TEDx. In fact, it would probably have done just fine as a conference series of their own (just from reading his comments, so I could be mistaken) .
