I mean, if ol’ minihands is permitted to run for a third term, then the US really is teetering on the edge of not being a democracy anymore, and it would be entirely appropriate for the other side to attempt to use the new rules (presumably declared by fiat) to try to elect a popular candidate.

- rsynnott 3mo ago… I mean, I think that’s completely nonsensical. “The other side says that if I change the rules, they might take advantage of that change” is not really a gotcha.
