So why would Oracle support it?
- rwmj 14y agoPresumably because Oracle wants you to use ASMlib / raw disks / O_DIRECT to partitions, and wouldn't support Oracle database on btrfs. Btrfs is for their RHEL clone OS. Big company, different departments ...
