    Probably only briefly. The only thing that kept Martha Stewart from retaking the helm of her company was an agreement to settle a civil suit the terms of which included a 5 year ban. Do the criminal penalties for tax evasion in Germany also entail such a ban? In the US, it is fines and imprisonment only.
