Tariffs so far are on paper entirely, and in practice still overwhelmingly, paid for by the buyer. So go ahead, make the stuff you buy from us 10x more expensive with you (not us) paying the difference to your government, then be surprised by how many of your factories can't run because they can't afford stuff they need that only we make. Or, shock, substitute us with China. But either way, you're hitting yourself and calling the pain a sign of victory.
