Ask HN: What Do You Do?
Ok so AI is now doing all the jobs. Even the manual ones. And you, and everyone else, are getting a universal basic income that's equivalent to a director level job salary in your location. You don't have to "work" to earn a living.
So what do you do now?

- alfarez 2mo agoBut nobody's hiring. All AI :)
- anenefan 2mo agoIf anything else, there will always be folks that just don't want the intrusion of having to put up with AI handing their work for privacy reasons. However, assuming AI had improved to a point where human jobs were rare - for periods I didn't work - I would have less medical issues since AI could do in a day what 2 or more years of tomfoolery could not, and have the time to spend those days hiking though preferably near pristine nature, ... or what was left of it.
- alfarez 2mo agoHiking's on my list too. Just spent 4 days in the fjords of Norway. Planning to go back for a longer stay (and hike!)
