No they didn't allow 6,600 to vote, in NJ. The article says that: "and nearly 400 cast ballots". Not 6,600. Due to a glitch which briefly existed between June 2023 - June 2024, which will be investigated and was already fixed.
And the article acknowledged they clearly clicked that they were noncitizens and not eligible to vote. Hence it was not intentional. Hence it's pretty obvious you would never have gotten anything near 6600 voting. And again, the glitch was fixed in June 2024, before the Presidential election.
- NewJazz 3mo agoAlso 400 ballots cast across several different elections.
- smcin 3mo agoNot multiple Presidential elections, possibly not even one Presidential election. A glitch which briefly existed between June 2023 - June 2024, before that Presidential election.

- NewJazz 2mo agoHow is it anything like that? The governor deliberately made the details very public and explained the cause and scope of the error clearly.
- giardini 2mo agoHorse pucky! TFA states the governor said she had learned about the improper registrations “last week", hardly time for her to do any investigation or make "details very public" as you say she did. And certainly the article speaks of no one with police investigative powers following up to see what happened and report to the legislature, police or executive branch. . Mikie Sherrill is a Democratic party governor in a completely Democratic party-dominated state well-known for a history of corruption.
- NewJazz 2mo agoWhy would there be some conspiracy?
