Not the same people. Is there a name for this fallacy? Very common on internet forums.
- picofarad 3mo agoI take it and use it as a shorthand for "where are all the first group when the second group is out in force" and vice versa. It applies to places with a tone and tenor.

- danaris 3mo agoThe clearest name for it I've seen is the Two Guys Fallacy: you see two guys talking on the same forum, and assume they're the same guy.
