- mynameisvlad 14y agoNot for the media. This would be a media gold mine.
- mda 14y agoDepends on the definition of "someone else". Check the terms and conditions of all big/high quality map data providers.
- hfs 14y agoDoesn't look like Google Maps explicitly prohibits comparing data. Closest would be >(f) use the Service or Content with any products, systems, or applications for or in connection with (i) real time navigation or route guidance, including but not limited to turn-by-turn route guidance that is synchronized to the position of a user's sensor-enabled device; or (ii) any systems or functions for automatic or autonomous control of vehicle behavior; and comparing results from a separate service doesn't really fall under that, in my mind.
- bonaldi 14y agoNot if the terms of use of the "someone else" explicitly prohibit such activity. This is particularly common with local information providers (eg business/event listings).
