I'm very serious. It's not a simple matter to get any sort of exportable data from these cloud services, and they won't bother to notify you that media that was on your playlist or in your library has been removed. I gave Apple Music a try for about a year. and even that relatively small migration was hellish.
I have an easy time managing a playlist through the many available audio player frontends writing to an .m3u which is itself usable as a file path list in scripts to copy the music from my library to an external device.
- tonyhart7 3mo agono one gonna delete your playlist, stop making shit up
- efreak 3mo agoAnd Sony would never remove movies from your account
- tonyhart7 3mo agoso we comparing license to physical now ????
- efreak 3mo agoThere's no physical media here anywhere (necessarily). This is comparing your computer (music on your PC that you purchase beforehand and do whatever you want with) to someone else's computer (cloud streaming that requires the platform to pay a license and get permission, that could one day be taken away without notice).
- tonyhart7 3mo agoYes because that just how license works you know
- inigyou 3mo agoYouTube has deleted many videos from many of my playlists.
- tonyhart7 3mo agoYes because youtube has a rule You cant uploading porn or isis video on youtube, it would be insta deleted or do you think no rule is a good thing ?????
- inigyou 3mo ago> no one deletes things from playlists > Actually they do delete it and that's good Pick one
- tonyhart7 3mo agoso your playlist is videos blacklisted from youtube ???? its not gotcha what you think it is
- vjsrinivas 3mo agoWhy would those be your two examples when there are numerous more realistic reasons why YouTube would take down a video?
- tonyhart7 3mo agoand no one those reason exist because its about YOU it always about LAW
