- satvikpendem 3mo ago/open was popularized by Pieter Levels as well, there are quite a few of these sorts of companies.
- jonshariat 3mo agoInteresting that the pricing page (and so I'm guessing the other data) hasn't been updated since 2022.
- ignoramous 3mo ago> Salaries of every employee: https://buffer.com/salaries https://buffer.com/salaries Reminds me of Frappe (ERPNext) letting employees choose their own pay: https://frappe.io/blog/culture/choosing-your-own-pay-how-does-this-work https://frappe.io/blog/culture/choosing-your-own-pay-how-doe... / https://archive.vn/o7NtE https://archive.vn/o7NtE ... which ended being, well ... eventful: https://frappe.io/blog/culture/in-the-aftermath-of-exuberance-pick-your-own-pay-23 https://frappe.io/blog/culture/in-the-aftermath-of-exuberanc... / https://archive.vn/BRaQc https://archive.vn/BRaQc
- roncesvalles 3mo agoThose are killer salaries for the ones not in the US. Imagine earning $160k USD in Morocco, Nigeria or Panama. 99.9th percentile.
- SOLAR_FIELDS 3mo agoThere is a well funded US company that pays the same rate to everyone regardless of where they live (or at least did when I interviewed with them several years ago). Unfortunately when I received the offer it was too low to consider vs my other offers because I had no plans to move out of the States but the company had employees living like kings and queens in Vietnam and similar countries
- OhSoHumble 3mo agoIt looks like it's a base and then they calculate cost of living rather than base your salary on the local cost of labor. That's pretty decent. DuckDuckGo I think just gives a flat value to everyone.
- CodeCompost 3mo ago$160K for a software engineer? I don't even get close to that number.
