- damienmeur 3mo agoAs US is currently urging to get back semi-conductors sovereignty by having a TSMC manufacture on its soil, I dont get why they don't do the same with ASML. ASML is kind of the SPOF of whole western world right now
- re-thc 3mo ago> I dont get why they don't do the same with ASML It's a different thing altogether. ASML builds "machines" and TSMC uses these "machines" to build "factories". That's the simplified view and saying they will do "factories" is how they are winning the headlines. It's what people understand like factory = jobs impression.
