  That's not really a claude-ism. Its an important requirement for a many asynchronous tasks.

    I dunno. Claude recently burned a lot of tokens trying to test an expensive task for idempotency. While the task I was working on should incidentally be idempotent, it wasn't that critical. I never asked, or even suggested, idempotency. Yet it insisted on testing it was. I need to scrutinize the plans. Or just not use Claude and use pi instead.
