Show HN: Beautiful QR Codes
- anoop_kumar 3mo agoNice! Simple yet elegant. I was looking for something like this and prompting my nano banana pro to create it and it would work sometimes but not all the time.
- tlonny 3mo agoNot to disparage, but I wrote: "Using the attached image as a stencil/background - please generate a QR code for https://XXX" into ChatGPT and got something valid that looks similar in style to your offering. I think the age of trying to wrap a highly focused AI task in a SaaS has come and gone.

- janpmz 3mo agoWith simple prompting it works sometimes but less reliably. I implemented a healing and strengthening algorithm which can improve codes that don't scan quickly.

- jruohonen 3mo agoNice idea! Simple but no one has done it previously, so that counts. (As per some posts, I stand corrected, but still, I believe no one has done it as an implementation.)

- janpmz 3mo agoThe diffusion codes all have a distinctive style where the qr code "melts" into the picture. I wanted to have more dedicated codes.
- tapland 3mo agoGood looking qr codes is nice, but doing them using AI feels like a huge waste?
- phillipseamore 3mo agoA lot of time spent on stuff like this, what we need however is to make QR codes that are faster and easier to scan at distance and angles.
