- kondro 14y agoSo is Google Apps since 2009: http://googlemobile.blogspot.com.au/2009/09/google-sync-now-with-push-gmail-support.html http://googlemobile.blogspot.com.au/2009/09/google-sync-now-...
- arihant 14y agoThis is not the same. Google Sync has nothing to do with built in iOS mail client - which only supports 15 min fetch from Gmail. Correction: It actually is. Gmail is accessible via Exchange on iOS which supports push.
- nickbarnwell 14y agoYes, it is. [1] [1]: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138740 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answe...
- chmars 14y ago… with some issues though: https://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139635 https://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answ... An issue not mentioned is the possibility to show selected labels only. With IMAP, only the selected labels are shown in Mail.app. Do you know BTW if using Exchange with Mail.app on iOS resolves the problem that each Gmail messages is shown in at least two folders/under at least two labels (for example 'All Mail' and 'Sent')?
